5 Awesome boats we’ve tested to their limits – VIDEO
It was great to prove what Hardy’s are built to do! What a test for the Hardy 65, as expected she took it in her stride.
It has been a busy few months in North Walsham, 2 new Hardy 32DS’s have been completed and handed over to their happy owners, we have started the next Hardy 42 and the NEW Hardy 52DS with optional flybridge! With the recent new sales at the Southampton Boat Show and building the 2 Gunfleet 58 luxury sailing yachts plus a Trusty 28, the Windboats team has their work cut out for the next 12 months which is a great position to be in.
Here are some photos of progress to date on the Hardy builds:
Both Hardy 32DS’s were completed this summer and transported to Ipswich for launch and sea trials.
Our latest Hardy 42 was released from the mould and work is progressing on the deck and superstructure, our 30th hull of this popular model.
Likewise our NEW Hardy 52DS with optional flybridge was born! An exciting project and we can’t wait to see her as she progresses.
Many thanks to everyone who came to visit us at the 50th Southampton Boat Show! The owners of the recently launched Hardy 32DS ‘Silver Gull’ very kindly allowed us to exhibit her at the show, and she did us proud!
We are pleased to say that 3 orders were secured at the show, 2 new Hardy 32’s and a Hardy 36! These will start going into production later this year and all be handed over throughout 2019.
We invite you to join us at this year’s Southampton Boat Show where we are proud to showcase the superb Hardy 32DS.
The Hardy 32DS is a fast, all weather, all-purpose boat that features sea-keeping characteristics needed for fast offshore cruising as well as the more leisurely ability to explore inland waterways. The 32DS is offered with three optional interior layouts to suit your individual requirements.
We look forward to welcoming you aboard at the Southampton Boat Show from 14th-23rd September, at Berth M263. Booking is not necessary but we do anticipate a lot of visitors, so if you would like to pre-book an appointment please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Our latest review is below in MBY on the Hardy 65.
We really do ‘Build Boats To Go To Sea’ – fantastic review by Motor Boat & Yachting, everyone here is feeling extremely proud! Thank you to all involved.
Hardy are excited to announce TWO signed contracts in the same week! The first being for a new Hardy 42, the 29th hull of this popular model, going to an existing Hardy owner, and the second is for the latest model to the fleet, the Hardy 52DS with flybridge which was agreed on a handshake at the recent London On Water Show. This will be the 1st of the new model and will be on the water next Spring.
2018 is proving to be an excellent year for Hardy, keep watching this page for updates as the yachts move into production!
Having been with Gunfleet since 2014 the time has come for Robin to fully enjoy the fruits of his labours after dedicating his whole career life to the yachting industry.
Initially with Berthon International where he was Director for many years before moving to Oyster Marine as Director and heading up the USA office, eventually returning to their UK Head Office in Ipswich for a few years before changing his boat-show shirts for Gunfleet & Hardy under the umbrella of the Windboats Group.
With plans for plenty of time in the garden, a holiday to the Spanish Islands, and no doubt a long list of DIY jobs around the house from Mrs Campbell, we wish Robin all the very best for the future and thank him for his dedicated commitment to the industry throughout his career.
There will be one last chance to see him at the London On Water Show 10-12th May where you will find him on the Gunfleet & Hardy stand.
